Strange Times are BACK! Now with double dry hopping.
Strange Times VI is a double dry hopped West Coast IPA (you heard right, DOUBLE DRY HOPPED!). This bad boy is 6.2% West Coast IPA who’s hopping schedule verges on excess. We used a double dry hop of big punchy new school hops including eukonot, Amarillo, strata and Amarillo cryo hops to deliver a complex tropical fruit rollercoaster of passion fruit, lychee, juicy fruit gum and pops of citrus.
In May 2020, we released the 1stof the Strange Times series beers, thinking honestly and completely that the crisis would be old news by September. With that in mind, we planned for 5 beer in the series, but here we are in February of 2021, nearly a month away from the one year anniversary (WOW) of the first CA shut down and things are only just beginning to creep back to our “new normal”…boy was our crystal ball wrong.
But our error is your reward! Strange Times VI releases next Wednesday at all of our taprooms with Strange VII and Strange VIII still to come. Strange Times IPA beers pairs well with uncertainty and are best enjoyed 6 feet apart.
